Farm fields aren’t just about crops—they’re about conservation and cash flow too!

Today, SVCEO students had the opportunity to visit Ayers Farms. Steve Ayers, son-in-law Zach Hillard & nephew, Tommy Ayers, led an eye-opening discussion: how good conservation practices protect the land for future generations and how smart financial decisions help a farm stay sustainable and profitable today.

Students walked away with a deeper understanding that running a farm is both a stewardship of the soil and a business with real cash flow considerations.

Thank you to the Ayers for sharing your expertise and reminding us that great businesses—whether farms or startups—balance caring for resources with financial responsibility!
