We had an outstanding session with Jessica Whitlock of https://www.yes-hq.com/ who challenged our Sangamon Valley and Central IL CEO students to rethink how they communicate and lead.

Jess shared what it really takes to “get your best yes” — by being authentic, leading with empathy, and speaking with clarity and simplicity. In a world that often rewards noise, she reminded our students that connection wins.

One of the most impactful parts of the morning was watching students share their personal stories — openly and honestly — and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback. It was real, encouraging, and growth-filled.

We are grateful for leaders like Jessica who equip our students not just with business skills, but with the confidence to communicate who they truly are.

Thank you, Jess, for investing in the next generation of business leaders!
