The Sangamon Valley CEO Class of 2026 hit the road for its first site visit at Monticello Mercantile!

Students explored what it takes to run a local business—from pricing and multiple revenue streams to taking risks and pursuing what you’re passionate about. They also enjoyed a fun “show and tell,” sharing unique items they discovered throughout the store.
